Look at how pretty that is...:D Now that Martie and I aren't eating meat any longer, I've been looking for creative, child friendly ways to introduce veggies to Martie.
Children like to graze throughout the day, including Martie.
After re-reading one of my favorite nutrtional books "The Family Nutrition Book" by Dr. Sears, I got the idea to try what he recommended (see above).
I ended up steaming the broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots for about 7 minutes so they would be soft enough for her to enjoy. Then I gave her two choices to dip her healthy snacks in. You will see there are sugar snap peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, raisins, pretzels, organic banana cookies, salsa, and ranch dressing.
Earlier in the day (I didn't get a picture of this) I did a fruit tray. We did strawberries, kiwi, banana's, organic apples, cheese, and yogurt to dip them in. She gobbled this up with in an hour or so.
I'm super pumped to see how this goes ~ and to watch her enjoy eating healthy and having fun doing it.
What are some things you do to get your children to eat heathy? What healthy foods are your children eating on a daily basis?

What a fabulous idea! One good way to add veggies also is to puree into sauces or pasta.
Good job!
